Heroin Detox

Learn how you can detox from heroin with Hope Rising Detox

Heroin Use and Recovery

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), over 81,000 dug overdose deaths occurred in the United States in the 12 months ending in May 2020, the highest number of overdose deaths ever recorded in a 12-month period. Heroin remains largely at the top of that list for abused drugs and deaths. Though other drugs are rising in popularity, Heroin remains a top pick among drug users.

At Hope Rising Detox and Rehab we do not want to see any more people added to this growing list of death statistics. We are here to help. We are here to help navigate you or a loved one through detoxing from Heroin in a safe, loving environment.  Through medicated assisted treatment, our team of doctors, nurses and staff are here to help.

What causes Heroin addiction?

Heroin is highly addictive and widely available to those who know how to find it. As people use Heroin they get a “high” or a “rush” and a feeling of euphoria. This euphoria feeling creates a sensation for the body and brain to want more. Over a short time, those who use Heroin find that they long for it daily and even hourly in some cases. Heroin users build up a tolerance for the drug therefore needing a higher and higher dose to get the desired effects. As the doses and frequency of doses rises, so does the body’s “need” for more. Over time, users find they can no longer stop using without help or going through sometimes painful and even deadly withdrawals.
